Farm to school is a busy place!

Reminder to all families of Prairie City Athletes. If you have an athlete playing sports it is the responsibility of the family to pick up their child upon return from away sporting events. If you are unable to pick up the student you need to make arrangements for someone to pick them up. It is not the responsibility of the coaches or bus drivers to figure out how to get kids home after the bus has returned. Please be there to pick up your child when the bus arrives. Thank you.

The 3rd and 4th grade went on a field trip today for farm to school to Thomas Orchards in Kimberly. The kids took a tour of the orchard picking fruit as they went. We also had the opportunity to take a tour of the packing plant. We purchased fruit while we were there and the kids all got a bag of fruit to take home. Thank you for the great field trip Thomas Orchards!
