The first-grade class was invited to have lunch at the Senior Center! They read to anyone who would listen. They then led the flag salute and sang a song! After that, they enjoyed a wonderful meal!
Seniors in US government wrote to their local representatives regarding an issue of their choice. The federal house representative wrote back with personalized responses to the students.

Addition BINGO in kindergarten
The vision for the Bates building started 6 years ago. Mrs Wright and Mr. Hallgarth worked on this and it has finally come to fruition. This will impact the school and community for years to come! Thanks to everyone for all the help with this project these past 6 years.
We will have our sports awards this coming Monday at the PC Cafeteria. Middle School awards at 6:00 High School awards at 7:00 There will just be a dessert available this year. Thanks Billy

Kindergarten learning about pollination during Farm to School
“The Bates Early Learning” building Grand Opening We are having our grand opening for our students on February 27 at 8 am! The paper and lots of parents will be present to witness having class for the first time in the newly renovated building! Community Walk-Thru will be the same day as the Grand Opening and will start at 3:30 pm and end at 4:30 pm. Pizza and drinks will be provided!
The name of the renovated building is “The Bates Early Learning”! Preschool Families Only: Open House – Monday, February 26, 2024 at 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm.
Girls Basketball Heads off to state today at 10:15. Come out for the Honk-Out at the New Gym.
It's almost here!
3rd grade has been studying owls for the past four weeks. We have read various texts, taken notes, and written our reports. Today we dissected owl pellets to finish up the unit. It was a great way to end our week!
