Hey Prairie City Volleyball Fans. We will have a honk out in Prairie City tomorrow at 7:00am for the volleyball team headed to their 2nd round match against Umpqua Valley Christian in Roseburg. That will be followed by a honk out going through John Day at 7:15. Good luck to the girls and thanks for participating in the honk out.

The lady Panthers take down Elgin 3-1 for a first round win in the state playoffs! Congrats ladies.
Middle school sports awards and dessert will be at 6:00 Monday November 3 at the Prairie City Senior Center. All players and their immediate family are encouraged to attend. Thank you.
The pumpkin patch is always a big hit.
Due to a large number of boys playing middle school basketball we are only using grades 6 through 8 for boys basketball. Practice for grades 6-8 will start Monday, November 3 at 3:45. 5th grade boys are still encouraged to participate in the Prairie City youth basketball program that will start in January for grades 4 and 5. Thank you for your continued support and apologies for the late change.

We are going to play the games in North powder for middle school volleyball starting at 4:30 instead of 5:00. Sorry for the late notice and hopefully everyone that's coming can get here as soon as possible. We will start with the C game at 4:30.

There will be a financial aid meeting in Mr. Colson's room at 5:00 Tuesday October 21 to discuss FAFSA and financial subjects. Eastern Oregon University financial aid department will be there to facilitate. They will also do another meeting that night at 6:30 at GU if you can't make the PC meeting. Senior parents and students are encouraged to attend. Junior families are welcome to come if they want a head start on the information.

Prairie City School District is selling a surplus scissor lift. This will be a closed bidding process with the highest bidder awarded the item. This is being sold as is with no warranties. The bidding will start at $6000.

Emma Sweet, a high school senior, is coordinating the annual blood drive in Prairie City. This years drive will be Thursday October 16 in the Old Gym from 8 until 1:30.
