3rd grade thanks the PTC for putting on our annual pumpkin patch! The stickers were a hit!



3rd graders had a great time buddy reading with Mrs. Lopez’s 7th grade English class today. This will be a fun treat once a month.

The fall sports banquet for middle school athletes will be next Monday October 30 at 6:00 at the Senior Center. The dinner will start at 6:00 with awards to follow. Thank you.

Prairie City Football team beat the Harper Hornets yesterday. Way to go Boys and good luck at state! Currently sitting #1 in State! Also had some young lady's from our Lady Panther Volleyball team make the trip to cheer the boys on! Thanks coach Jacobs!




Note to the parents for middle school boys basketball. Next week Monday through Wednesday will be open gym from 3:45 to 5:30. No open gym on Thursday the 26th. It's not mandatory practice so parents feel free to let your kids have the week off. Official 5/6/7/8 grade boys bball practice will start October 30th from 3:45 to 5:30.

The Animal Science class is conducting science experiments to test pathogen risks in farm and ranch biosecurity. Here they are learning the importance of farm and ranch risk management with disease spread. They are swabbing various surfaces and growing bacteria in sealed petri dishes. Then, they will test how cleanliness and sanitation practices impact bacteria growth.




The jr high introduction to agriculture class has been busy prepping for a project where they are growing a salad garden. They researched different seed varieties, learned about soil and soil properties, and got their hands dirty. They even planted a pineapple plant!!





It’s always fun getting a coin for the book vending machine!
